Carole Barber

Rev. Carole Ann Zinger-Barber passed away on September 8, 2023, at the age of 76 in Southern California, her home of 33 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, educator, mentor, pastor, and friend who was loved by all who knew her.

Carole is survived by her husband of 43 years, Rev. Larry Barber, as well as her daughter Malari Barber-Swierenga (Daniel) and her beloved grandchildren Samuel and Cecily Swierenga. She is also survived by siblings Ronald Zinger (Nancy) and Kathy Ebels (Steven), brother-in-law Bob Barber, sisters-in-law Sally Kuipers and Donna McCann (Lyle), 11 nieces and nephews, and 27 great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Clinton and Marian Zinger, sister Sharon Lutke, parents-in-law Max and Dorothy Barber, and brother-in-law Max Barber, Jr.

Funeral services will be held at Trinity Reformed Church in Holland, Michigan on Sunday, October 1st at 3:30 pm.
