Carl Jungblut

Dr. Carl J. Jungblut, age 70, of Holland passed away Monday, December 5, 2011 at his home.

Carl was a veteran of the US Navy serving from 1959-1966. He started a chiropractic practice in Holland in 1970. Carl enjoyed volunteering at Silversides Museum, Evergreen Commons and Tulip Time and he liked working out in the yard and being at the beach. He was preceded in death by his parents Theodore and Catherine Jungblut and a sister Isabelle.

He is survived by his children: Kathleen and Rod De Jonge of Hamilton; Tony and Dana Jungblut of Oak Harbor, Washington; grandchildren: Connor and Nolan De Jonge, Reese and Owen Jungblut; brothers: Ted Jungblut of Holland; Leo and Lynn Jungblut of Santa Anna, CA; former wife and friend Terry; brothers and sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and cousins.

A funeral service with military honors will be 11:00 AM, Friday, December 9, 2011 at Northwood Chapel – Dykstra Funeral Homes 295 Douglas Avenue in Holland. Father Fred Hoesli will be officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
