Brian Cobb

Brian Lee Cobb, Holland resident, son of Lewis and Carolyn Cobb, died quickly and unexpectedly of heart failure on June 13th at the age of 69.

Brian graduated from Coopersville HS and was a talented artist and musician. As happens too frequently, Brian developed mental health issues as a young adult which resulted in years of struggles for him. Fortunately, with the support of care givers and case workers, to whom the family is deeply indebted, with time Brian was able to manage his illness and find fulfillment—especially in being helpful to his mother after the passing of his father ten years ago.

Brian was preceded by his father and his older brother Dave; and is survived by his mother, his brothers Steve and Ron, and an extended family of sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you support your local community mental health resources. There will be a graveside memorial at a date to be determined later.
