Bobby was born August 30, 1939 to Roy and Dorothy Mints in Wichita Falls, Texas. She married James Goen on Christmas Day, 1959. They celebrated over 60 years of marriage and had three children, four grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her son James Mark who died in 1977, and her husband James who passed in April of 2020.

Surviving are her children, Sherri and Scott VanDenBerg and Glen and Dani Goen; 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, Sara and Brandon Bos (Kensie and Noah), Nikki and Bob Fisher (Mia and Ella), Bailey Goen, and Madi Goen; her sister, Jan and Kent Neville; her niece, Kimberly Gregorash; nephews Travis and Clayton Neville; in laws Phyllis Goen and Shirley Goen.
