Bob Ebel

Robert A. Ebel, age 70 of West Olive, peacefully passed away March 18, 2022 at his home.

Bob was a dedicated son. He loved to take walks through the woods with his service dog, Santana. Christmas tree season was his favorite time of the year as he found great joy working in the Christmas trees. Many families returned year after year to get their Christmas tree. He always had candy canes for customers and their children. In addition to working on the tree farm, Bob worked at Herman Miller for over 35 years. Bob was always up for a cup of coffee with family and friends who were special to him. He read his Bible daily and received great comfort from God's words.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Anton & Pauline Ebel, along with his cousin and best friend William "Billy" Ebel.

He is survived by his brother, Ronald (Cathy) Ebel; nephew, Thomas Ebel; niece, Leah (Todd) Stafford; step-son, Doug Fortine; great-nephew, Jackson Stafford; great-niece, Sara Kate Stafford, along with many cousins and close friends.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, March 24th from 5-7pm at Dykstra Funeral Home - Northwood Chapel. A funeral service will take place on Friday, March 25th at 11:00am at West Olive Christian Reformed Church.
