Blake Edward Janson, 55, of Holland, Michigan, passed away on August 22, 2022. He was born in Rochester, Minnesota to David and LaRhee Janson on April 30, 1967.

Blake was a very outgoing person and loved having fun, dancing, swimming and hanging out with friends and family. He had a love for sports of all kinds, though NASCAR would forever be his favorite. He took pride in the things he had a hand in creating, such as his children, grandchildren, his garden, and his beautiful life with his loved one. Blake was the man to make everything fun, he made everyone laugh wherever he was, especially when it came to the special children in his life. With music playing and a fire going, he could talk your ear off for hours. There are many lives his laughter would touch, from best friends through school, to family and coworkers; his bright personality and contagious smile will be deeply missed, and the impact of his absence will last for many years to come.

Blake is survived by his spouse, Renee Lamont, and her children Justin (HaeLee) and Matt Lamont; his children, Brian (Paige) and Jerica Janson; his grandchildren, Liam Janson and Jameson David; his parents, LaRhee Mathison, and Gerald and Joy Gunderson; his brothers, Brock (Annette) Janson and James Gunderson; his sisters Corinna Gunderson and Naomi (Kaimi) Pacheco; his nieces and nephews, Chantelle, Cody, Samantha, Kapono, Maile, Gunner, and Alayna. As well as many close friends and coworkers. He is preceded in death by his father, David Janson; his grandparents Floyd and Lillian Mathison, and Darrel and Lorraine Bublitz.

Funeral visitation will be held at Dykstra Funeral Homes, Mulder Chapel, on August 27, 2022 from 1pm to 4pm, followed by military honors.
