Bill, age 74, passed away on August 30, 2024 from complications of diabetes. He was born on April 30, 1950, the only child of Dale and Virginia (Harrington) Uildriks. Bill graduated from Holland High School and then earned a degree at Grand Valley State University with a physics major and a math minor.

He worked in high tech industries his entire career retiring as an aerospace quality engineer for Woodward, Inc.

He met the love of his life, Linda (Lynne) Jacobusse while they both were in high school. They married on July 18, 1971. She sadly predeceased him earlier this year on February 24, 2024.

Bill and Lynne had four children: Amy Uildriks (George Poindexter, Jr.); Kimberly (Jerrica) Kallio; Joshua Uildriks (Monika Haggerty); and Jonathan Uildriks. They had 4 grandchildren: Jade and Nathaniel Uildriks; and Jacoba and Atticus Kallio.

Bill was a lifelong member of the New Apostolic Church and loved singing in the choir. The family appreciates the support they received from Evangelist Scott Heidema and the church family.

Bill was an extraordinary photographer with a keen eye and an amazing skill for capturing moments, not only of the family but also in nature. His lighthouse and eagle images are second to none. He, along with Lynne, adored animals and adopted countless cats and dogs over the years. He was thoughtful, loving and generally unflappable. He will be dearly missed but we’re grateful he and Lynne are back together again.

Bill is survived by his children and grandchildren as well as his sister-in-law, Kris (Erik) Lindquist, aunt-in-law, Joyce Jacobusse, as well as numerous cousins.

Visitation will be Friday, September 6, 2024 at the Mulder Chapel, Dykstra Funeral Home, 188 W. 32nd St., Holland from 4pm to 6pm. The church service will be Saturday, September 7, 2024 at New Apostolic Church, 117 W. 14th St., Holland at 1pm. Following the ceremony, he will be laid to rest at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, 994 Paw Paw Dr., Holland.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in his memory to the Harbor Humane Society, 14345 Bagley St., West Olive.
