Bill Ballard (age 68) passed from earth to Heaven on December 23, 2016, after a yearlong battle with brain cancer. Bill was born to William and Elizabeth Ballard on December 30, 1947 and had a happy childhood with his 5 siblings. He was married to his childhood sweetheart Gail (Moir) for 46 years. He is survived by daughter, Sarah (Dan) Cooper, and son, Spencer (Emily Couture), and his 8 beloved grandchildren, Lilly, Nora, Ainsley, Jonas William, Wesley, Caroline, Georgia and John…affectionately called his “pumpkins.” Bill and Gail grew up in Royal Oak, Michigan, and raised their family in Oakland, MI. They relocated to Holland, MI, in 2012, to enjoy life closer to their children. Bill’s great joy was his family, teaching the Bible to children and enjoying friendships old and new. His woodworking skills blessed friends and family throughout his life. To God be the Glory.
