Beverly J. Gibbons, age 65, of Hamilton, died Monday May 5, 2014 at Holland Hospital.
Bev was born in Douglas, Mi and lived in the area her entire life. In 1972 she married James Gibbons from Kentucky. Bev was employed at Toddlerville Day Care for 15 years caring for the young children. She was a member of Emmaus Road Bible Church where she was involved in children’s ministries for 20 years. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Shirley Jacobs, sister-in-law Judy Jacobs, nephew Curtis Jacobs, and cousin Bethann Kool.
Surviving are husband of 42 years James Gibbons of Hamilton, daughter Sheri Gibbons of Hamilton; brother's Steve Jacobs of Holland, Paul Jacobs of Holland. Also surviving are several brother and sister in laws, Aunts and Uncles, nieces and nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 am at Emmaus Road Bible Church 4001 M-89, (corner of M-40 and M-89). Officiating will be Pastor Chip Nightingale. Visitation will be Thursday 6-8 pm at the Mulder Chapel, Dykstra Funeral Homes 188 West 32nd St. and Friday 10-11 prior to the service at church.Burial will be in Bentheim Cemetery.
