Betty Page

Betty J. Page, age 92, of Holland passed away Thursday, August 10, 2023, at Wings Home in Allegan.

Betty moved to Holland in 1970 and has lived in the same house for 50 years. She had a professional career as an RN for many years while raising her 4 children as a single mom. Betty enjoyed crossword, cryptoquote, sewing and puzzles.

She was preceded in death by her parent’s William and Mary (Kenney) Shine and a sister Ellen Brinks.

She is survived by her children: Kathryn (Dennis) Nienhuis, John (Bonnie) Page, Daniel (Janice) Page and Mary Page Armbruster; grandchildren: Chris Nienhuis, LeAnne (Tyler) Sinclair, Amber Nienhuis, Melissa Page (Kris Velthuis), Jason (Ashlee) Page, Jessica Page, William Page, Nick Armbruster (fiancé Kristen Carini), Jesse Armbruster, Gerrit (Martha) Armbruster and Andrew Armbruster; 8 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, August 18, 2023, at Dykstra Funeral Homes – Mulder Chapel, 188 West 32nd Street in Holland. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Burial will be in Graafschap cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the Wings Home, 330 Linn Street, Allegan, MI 49010.
