Betty Jean Bronkhorst, age 76, of Holland died Sunday, July 29, 2018 at Holland Hospital.

Betty Jean loved her family and adored her grandchildren. At McIntosh Manor she would always have coffee with the other ladies at the manor and enjoyed playing bingo. Her sister and cousins would plan Wednesday lunches a month ahead, visiting many restaurants. Betty Jean enjoyed reading and would not miss a Detroit Tigers game.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Elmer Arnold, second husband Gerrit Bronkhorst, a son Mitch Arnold and brothers Cork, Dick, Jerry and Kevin Van Dine.

She is survived by his children: Mike and Julie Arnold of Zeeland and Mark and Kim Arnold of Holland; grandchildren: Ben and Jodee Arnold, Kaitlin and Eric Busch, Nick Arnold, Brett Arnold, Megan and Brandon Volkers, Breanne Arnold, Kelsey Arnold, Mitchell Arnold, Mara and Dwight Green, Chloe Arnold; 7 great grandchildren; sister: Judy Ann and Harold Burns of Holland; sister-in-law: Doris McDonald of North Port, FL; nieces, nephews and cousins

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, August 3, 2018 at Dykstra Funeral Home – Mulder Chapel, 188 West 32nd Street in Holland. Rev. Jonathan Elgersma will be officiating. Inurnment will be in Gibson Cemetery.
