Beryl G. Mc Leod age 88 of Holland, formerly of Kalamazoo, MI died Friday, April 4, 2014 at a nursing facility in Kalamazoo.
Born in England, at 18 she joined the Land Army during WW11. In 1945 she met and married her husband Kenneth McLeod in Worcheshire England. Following their wedding they moved to the states.
She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and in 2006 was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Kenneth.
Beryl is survived by her children; John Mc Leod, Blaine and Jayne M. Mc Leod and Janelle Covington as well as 3 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren, sister-in-law, Mary Hollings and brother-in-law, Fred McLeod.
A private graveside service will be held at Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
Memorial gifts may be given to Alzheimers Association.
