Bernice "Bunny" Todd

Bernice “Bunny” M. Todd, age 95, of Holland passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at Resthaven Care Center-Good Shepherd Home.

Bunny graduated from Pembroke Academy in Pembroke, NH and came to Holland in 1955. She was a member of Central Wesleyan Church where she was a MOPS mentor and one of the founders of the grief share group Grieve Not Alone. She helped at the Gateway Mission in Holland and was a Tulip Time volunteer. Bunny enjoyed caring for others and the people she met became like part of her family.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Merle F. Good, her second husband Donald H. Todd, great granddaughter Christianna Murphy and son-in-law John Arndt.

She is survived by her children: Pamela (Jerry) Szymczak, Beth (David) Knopf, Jon and Prudy Berghorst, Patti Arndt, Steve and Denise Todd of Holland and Debbie and Mike Murphy of Holland; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother: Clayton Higgins; sister: Thelma Korthals; nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be 11:00 am, Saturday, March 12, 2022 at Central Wesleyan Church Chapel, 446 West 40th Street in Holland, please use entrance G. Reverend Lynn Bruce will be officiating. Burial will be in Pilgrim Home Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-8 pm, Friday, March 11, 2022 at Dykstra Funeral Homes-Mulder Chapel, 188 West 32nd Street in Holland and from 10-10:45 am prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be given to Youth for Christ or Resthaven Care Center.
