Barbara Groenhof, beloved wife of Benjamin Groenhof, died after an extended illness on Tuesday, May 17, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon "Bill" Brower and their son Lorne, her parents Lawrence & Blanche Baldridge. She is survived by her husband Benjamin and her family Curt & Tracy Brower, Deb & Rick Kennedy, Benjamin Groenhof, Jodi Groenhof, Brian & Valarie Groenhof, Beverly Overway, Elaine & Randy Evans and Beth & Eric Green; Grandchildren: Travis, Brandon, Hannah, Carrie (Cris), Eric (Rachel), Jenna (Alex), Abby (Brent), Benji (Asha), Cassie, Aron (Raelynn), Brad (Aubrey), Nate, Gordon, Joe, Sarah, Jason (Ashley), Peter and Claire; and nine great-grandchildren. Additionally, her sister and brother-in-law, Bonnie & Fred Johnson plus nephew Rick and niece Jodi and their families. She will be dearly missed by all.

Barbara was the oldest daughter of Lawrence and Blanche (Needham) Baldridge. She was born in Arizona but raised mostly in the Holland area along with her sister, Bonnie. She attended Holland High School and worked in the Holland office of State Farm Insurance for many years. She loved to travel and spend time in Arkansas with her extended family. Barb was a generous and loving person. Besides her family, her faith was very important. She loved to spend time with friends and family, especially Bonnie. They have many wonderful memories together including dutch dancing at Dutch Village.

A memorial service will take place at 4:00pm on Saturday, May 21 at Central Wesleyan Church (entrance I), with a one-hour visitation starting at 3:00pm. Rev. Larry Johnson will officiate.
