Audrey Julia Menken

Audrey Menken, age 91, of Holland, passed away on Sunday July 16, 2006 in Holland Hospital.

Audrey was a lifelong member of Graafschap Christian Reformed Church and worked as a clerk at Teerman's in Holland for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband Henry Menken in 1981, and daughter-in-law, Marlene Menken in 2001.

She is survived by her children; Randy Menken of Holland, Verna and Russell Stanton of Spring Lake; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; her brother, Bill and Esther Bouwman of Allegan; her sister, Milly Slayer of Saugatuck; her step brothers, Juke Deur of Holland, Robert and Sylvia Deur of Zeeland; her step sister, Alma Schaafsma of Zeeland; sisters-in-law, Ann Bouwman, Guyla Bouwman, June Bouwman, Evelyn Menken, Harriet Helmus, Edna Haverdink, all of Holland; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00am at the Graafschap Christian Reformed Church, 5973 Church Street with Rev. Stan Scripps and Rev. Henry Vanden Heuvel officiating

Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the church.

Burial will take place at Graafschap Cemetery

Memorial Contributions may be given to International Aid or the Holland Rescue Mission.
