Angelina Maria Urivez, age 39, of Holland, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 22, 2023.

Angelina is a loving Mother, Daughter, Sister, Tia, and newly a “Granny”, this was the title she was excited to be called. Angelina loved her family very much, she is gorgeous, intelligent, caring, kind, and a loving young lady. She loved life so much! You could hear it in her contagious laugh and see it in her huge smile that never failed to show, through the good and the bad. The smile that drew so many friends to her; Angelina has a heart of gold. She was the type of person who would do anything for anyone.

Angelina was born on December 21, 1983, in Saginaw, Michigan. She was a graduate of Godfrey High School. She grew up in Saginaw but eventually moved to Grand Rapids and then to Holland where she resided. She was involved in Girl Scouts, modeling, and she graduated from Davenport University with a certificate in the medical field.

Angelina loved going to concerts with her sister Erika, especially Justin Bieber. They would go out for breakfast and have a shot or three, celebrate their favorite holiday Halloween any time of the year, and they really enjoyed their sister time together. She loved doing crafts, going to theme parks, going camping, playing board games with her children, and she was an excellent chef. Angelina enjoyed shopping (oh could she shop!) with everyone and really knew how to accessorize all over. She had an eye for art, and she loved showing it through her tattoos and piercings. Angelina had such a connection to music. She felt the lyrics deeply and would blast the music in her car to full volume, anyone could hear her coming from a mile away. She really loved to go on long drives to clear her mind and connect with her music. The sound of the waves and being by the water brought peace to her heart and mind, especially when it was with her momma. In another life, Angelina was a mermaid. Angelina was a huge movie buff, she especially loved the Labyrinth, Clueless, Harry Potter, and her horror movies. She loved her children and grandson with all her heart, they really were the light in her world. Angelina did whatever she could to make them happy.

Angelina is survived by her parents Jose Urivez Sr., and Noelia (Charles) TerHaar. Brother Jose Jr (Jennifer) and sister Erika. Her children Eviana Gonzalez, Jesus Gonzalez, Juliana Silvas, Valentina Silvas, and her grandson Santino Mojica. Many Aunts and Uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, and many friends.

Angelina was preceded in death by her twin children, Grandparents Hijinio & Guadalupe Urivez, Guadalupe Meija & Rosario Mojica. Her Uncle and Aunt Robert & Ernestina Luna, Uncles Omero and Juan Urivez, Aunt Margarita Urivez, and her Special, Favorite Cousin Robert Guerra.

Angelina leaves this earth from us to be embraced in the arms of Jesus who loved her so much that He died for her.

Angelina will be missed tremendously. This is until we meet again in heaven.

The family will receive visitors on Friday, September 29, from 6:00pm to 9:00pm, at the Dykstra Funeral Home-Mulder Chapel, 188 West 32nd Street, Holland, Michigan. A Celebration of Life to honor Angelina will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, September 30, at Dykstra Funeral Home-Mulder Chapel.

Visitation will be at 10am, with a ceremony to follow at 11am at the Mulder Chapel. Pastor Lisa Urivez-Karp will preside over the ceremony.
