On April 16, 2020, Andrew Victor Heidenreich passed away at the age of 52.

Andrew was born on May 31, 1967 in Detroit, Michigan. He was the son of James G. and Gracia S. (Hoeltzel) Heidenreich. He attended East Grand Rapids High School where he played singles on the Varsity Tennis team. At the age of sixteen he qualified for and played in the Boys National Tennis Tournament in Kalamazoo, MI where it’s still played today. He graduated in 1985. Andrew continued his education at Michigan State University where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree and played varsity tennis for two years before graduating in 1989. Andrew was a State Farm Insurance Agent for twenty five years in the Douglas-Saugatuck area.

He enjoyed traveling, scuba diving, motorcycle rides, boating on Lake Michigan with family and friends, and most of all pretty days spent at the beach with Connor and Claudia. Our family gatherings were always filled with laughter and fun. Andrew and his wonderful sense of humor will be missed, and we will love him forever.

Andrew is preceded in death by his beautiful wife Mandy, whom he was married to for 16 years, his maternal grandparents, Daryl and Isabel (Watson) Hoeltzel of Marshall, MI; paternal grandparents, Walter and Margaret (Gladstone) Heidenreich of Marshall, MI. He is survived by his beloved children, Connor and Claudia Heidenreich; parents, James and Gracia Heidenreich; sister, Alicia (Tom) Holmes; brother, Stephen (Joanne) Heidenreich; father in-law, James (Jill) Warsaw; along with many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews from the Heidenreich, Holmes, Svetich and Warsaw Families.

A celebration of life is being planned for a future date.
