Amy Lynn Bridges, 41, of Holland passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at Butterworth Hospital after suffering a cardiac arrest secondary to Asthma. She had battled asthma since early childhood. She was also a brave warrior who fought a long battle with addiction. She would have been sober for 3 years in April. She prided herself in being an advocate for others fighting the same battle.

Surviving her are her mother, Jann (Vince) Smith; father, Larry (Shelly) Woodall; brothers, Bill (Rachael) Bridges, Christopher Kubacki; grandmothers, Patricia Thomas, Deane Williams, and Betty Jo Bridges. She leaves behind her beloved nieces and nephews, Kiarrah and Seraph Bridges, Jackson, Griffin and Tucker Reed, and Nathan and Olivia Kubacki along with many aunts, uncles and cousins. She also leaves behind her best friend/child/dog Loki. She will be missed by her many friends.

Amy was a very loving, giving, passionate, loyal friend and was a creative woman. She was quirky, stubborn, supportive, independent, and fierce. She was a defender of the downtrodden and helped anyone who needed it. She wouldn't turn away a friend in need.

She was a 1998 graduate of Holland High School and earned a CNA certificate.

A celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, June 18,2022 at Kirk Park (9791 North Lakeshore Drive, West Olive) from 11am till 1 pm. County Park pass is required.. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Harbor Humane Society.
