Alda Marie DeJonge age 94 of Holland died Thursday, June 28, 2012 at Appledorn Living Center.
She was born in Holland and was a member of 6th Ref. church as well as more recently, Calvary Ref. Church.
She was married to Gerrit DeJonge for 52 years. He preceded her in death on June 28, 1990. She was also preceded in death by a great grandson, David Bouma.
She is survived by her children; Beverly (Robert) Schaafsma of Kentwood MI., Donna (Donald) Rus of Holland, Gary (Beverlee) DeJonge of Holland and Dennis (Nancy) DeJonge also of West Olive, 13 Grandchildren, 29 great Grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, three half siblings, Gloria Lloyd of Fl., Sarah Jordan of Georgia, Donald (Wenona) Baldwin, Fl. and sister - in- law , Carla (Harvey) Wierda of Zeeland as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held Sat. 2:00 PM at Northwood Chapel, Dykstra Funeral Homes, 295 Douglas Ave. with Rev Ron Beyer officiating.
Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call on the family Saturday, 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM prior to the service.
