Adeline R. Bjorum

Adeline Bjorum, age 93, went home to her Lord on April 7, 2022.

Adeline is survived by her children, Reverend James Bjorum, David (Karel) Bjorum, Laurie (Greg) Kimball and John (Sandy) Bjorum; grandchildren, Amy and Justin Bjorum, Cory, Jessica, and Melissa Kimball and eight great-grandchildren, Gwendolyn, Gannon, Gemma, Porter, Ilyana, Jalyn, Mariah, and Caladin.

Neil and Adeline were world travelers visiting all 50 state capitals and traveling across the sea. Adeline was a librarian at West Ottawa schools for 27 years, taught Sunday school at Grace Reformed Church for 30 years and did volunteer mission work for most of her life.

The family will receive visitors on Saturday, April 9, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, at the Northwood Chapel, 295 Douglas Avenue, Holland. A funeral service will be held Sunday, April 10, at 3:00pm, at the Dykstra Funeral Home-Northwood Chapel. Reverend Mark Stevenson presiding. Entombment will take place on Monday, April 11, at 11:00am, at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, 994 Paw Paw Drive, Holland.

Memorial contributions may be made in Adeline’s memory to Holland Rescue Mission.

Funeral arrangements are under the auspices of Dykstra Funeral Home.
