Life Story / Obituary
Vicki Zoerman, age 54 of Holland, passed away Thursday, March 10, 2016.
Vicki was born in Zeeland, MI, graduated from Holland Christian High School in 1980, and Mercy Central School of Nursing.
She worked at Zeeland Community Hospital for 32 years and was currently working for Alliance Home Health Care Services.
Vicki was a member of Intersection Ministries in Holland and was very active in Alumni Dutch Dance during Tulip Time.
Vicki was preceded in death by a brother, David Scholten and father-in-law, Jack Zoerman.
Surviving is her husband, Daryl of 23 years; children, Rita and Dan Westrate, Tori Zoerman, and Adam Zoerman; one granddaughter, Raelynn Westrate; parents, Jason and Shirley Scholten; brother and sisters, Sallie and Al Zoerman, Cathy Weener, Rod and Kathy Scholten, and Deb and Al O’Bryant; mother-in-law, Dorothy Zoerman; in-laws, Al and Sallie Zoerman, Deanne Zoerman, Gail and Gary Patterson, Jan Zoerman, and Kathy and Bob Kuipers; nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Funeral services will be 11 am Tuesday at Intersection Ministries, 945 136th Avenue, with Rev. Jeff Meyer officiating.
Burial will be in Lakewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 pm Monday at the Dykstra Funeral Home-Northwood Chapel, 295 Douglas Avenue.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Tre-J Ministries.
