Troy Burgess

Troy Lynn Burgess of Holland, Michigan passed away peacefully at Holland Hospital on Thursday March 14, 2024, age 58.

During his time, he gave us his beautiful daughter Samantha, his son Riley, and wonderful grandchildren Micheal and Walker. Troy loved his daughter, son, and grandchildren very much. He is survived by his mother Charlene and brother Greg. He walked with us as his own man and loved life. He was kindhearted and helped those in need. He loved the many dogs he had over the years and had a soft spot for animals.

Troy loved a challenge and always took them head on. He was an adventurous spirit and enjoyed mudding with his trucks then fixing them after the events. In his younger years he loved riding motorcycles and getting dirty. Troy was an accomplished mechanic, heavy equipment operator, construction worker, and had an incredible work ethic. He enjoyed his various jobs very much and was always eager to help wherever he could.

He took special care of his mother and made sure she had everything she needed. Troy will always be remembered as a loving son, father, grandfather, and brother.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm, Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at Dykstra Funeral Homes - Northwood Chapel, 295 Douglas Avenue in Holland.
