Timothy Albert Hoover of Shavehead Lake near Vandalia, Michigan died on Sunday, October 24, 2021. Born on July 5, 1946 in South Bend, Indiana. Tim was preceded in death by his mother Bernice and father Al, and his brother Dwight. He is survived by his niece Abby Eggen (Brian); nephews: Tim Hoover, Joe Leary (Scott Patten) and Matt Leary (Blair); sister-in-law: Jacqueline Hoover, and his grandniece and nephews Madeline and Aidan Hoover, Sam Eggen, and Thomas and Hudson Leary.
Tim was a devoted and loving son who cared for his parents as they aged, and a loyal friend to many, known for his gentle demeanor and great sense of humor. Tim was a lifelong fan of Notre Dame football and the Cubs. He was a member of Operative Plasterers & Cement Masons Local 692.
A memorial celebration is being planned for the spring. Arrangements are by Dykstra Funeral Home-Northwood.
