Terry Schlatter, 69, passed away surrounded by family on Saturday, September 6th, 2025. He is survived by his wife, Julie, daughters Rachel and Renee, cherished grandsons Emmett and Owen, as well as brothers Ron, Marvin, Dean and their extended families.
A proud graduate of Purdue University with a degree in physical education, Terry lettered in baseball and was named MVP of the 1978 squad. His professional career spanned more than four decades, directing athletic equipment departments at Western Michigan University, Purdue University, and the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
In retirement, Terry found joy in golfing, fishing, watching sports, being outdoors, and spending time watching wildlife. He also loved working on projects around the house and especially enjoyed creating things for his children.
Terry will be remembered for his devotion to family, his love of sports, and his generous spirit.
In keeping with Terry's wishes, there will be no services or visitations scheduled at this time. He requested his ashes to be scattered by his family where fondest memories were shared.
