Steve Wasylkowski, a life-long financial advisor, and Holland, MI resident died unexpectedly in his home on July 30, 2021, shortly after celebrating his 80th birthday.

Steve is survived by the love of his life and wife of 46 years, Charlotte Wasylkowski, and her two sons, Brian and Gene Mussow – whom Steve loved as his own children, as well as his only granddaughter Madison Mussow, whom he’s adored from the day she was born.

Steve was born on July 3, 1941 in Dover Delaware, enlisting in the U.S. Coast Guard after graduating from high school. He was recruited by the Department of State shortly after, where he was stationed in South Africa for four years.

He graduated from Florida State University with his Master’s in Financial Quantitative Analysis, moving to Denver shortly after where he loved working as an investment manager – probably in part because he met Char at the stock firm. He was a great man and will be dearly missed by all. Other accomplishments: Exalted Ruler of the Holland Elk’s, Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award (for excellence in their career field.
