SFC (Ret) Michael James Thomas Borr Sr.

SFC (Ret) Michael James Thomas Borr Sr., age 49, of Holland, passed away on Sunday November 27, 2005 at Hospice of Holland after a brief battle with cancer. Michael graduated from Holland High School in 1974. He retired from the United States Army after 22 years of service and was a member of the AmVets. His father, James Borr Jr., preceded him in death. He is survived by his son, Michael J. Borr Jr. of Columbus, GA ; his grandson, Nikolas M. Borr of Gloversville, NY; his mother, Frances Borr of Holland; his sister, Kathy and Kirk Brookhouse of Holland, David and Kerri Borr of Holland, Steve and Evora Borr of Hamilton; several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00am at St. Francis de sales Catholic Church, corner of 13th and Maple with Fr. Charles Brown officiating.
