Saveuy Lasavath

Saveuy Lasavath, 68, of Holland, MI, passed away on July 16th in his home at Holland, MI.

Saveuy was born in Vientiane (Hatxaifong District-Thakeak Village), Laos to Sing and Phay on June 4th, 1955. He married Manivone in 1979 in Laos. They went on to live in the United States in 1981, where he worked in manufacturing. He spent his younger and later years working as a farmer. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved fishing. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and children sharing the same passion. He was the kindest and most loving person to all those around him. He truly inspired a soul touched by love from Jesus.

Saveuy is survived by his children Phillip and Aurora (Holland), Tony and May (San Diego), and Thon (Thailand). His siblings Thong, Savang, Khamvang (Texas), Savay and Sangxay (Arkansas). His 8 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Manivone and his brother Doung.

Visitation will take place on Friday, July 21 from 6-8pm at Dykstra Funeral Home - Northwood Chapel, 295 Douglas Ave. Holland. A funeral service will take place on Saturday, July 22 at 2:00pm also at Dykstra Funeral Home - Northwood Chapel.
