Samuel R. Williams

Samuel R. Williams, age 21, of Grand Junction, passed away Friday, November 4, 2022.

Sam was born to Char Rawson and Robert Williams on October 5, 2001 in Cadillac, Michigan. From an early age it was obvious Sam was an old soul. He was intuitive, creative, warmhearted and very easy going. Sam was also a dedicated individual. Dedicated to friends, family and work. He was most recently employed at Post Hardwoods where he excelled given his natural ability to work with his hands. Sam was a doer, he was the type of person that was either "all in or nothing". Sam had a heart of Gold and he loved his family deeply. He was the type of person that genuinely cared for others. He would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. Sam was known for his awesome sense of humor and free spirited ways. He knew how to laugh, joke and have a good time. Sam was loved by everyone that he came into contact with and he will truly be missed.

Samuel is survived by his parents, Char Rawson and Robert Williams; brothers, Hunter, Austin, and Mason Rawson.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Guy Garn and his uncle, Guy Dykgraaf.

The family will receive visitors on Friday, November 18, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm, at the Dykstra Funeral Home-Northwood Chapel, 295 Douglas Avenue, Holland.
