Ruth Y. Lumbert, age 79 of Holland, died Saturday January 9, 2016 at her home.
Ruth was a longtime resident of Holland. She worked at various retail jobs over the years. She liked to volunteer at American Cancer, United Way, and First United Methodist Church in Holland. She was a member of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her parents Chuck and Gladys Lumbert, sister Sally Roberts, niece Charlene Nicholes, nephew Vern Rotman Jr. , great great nephew Keegen Doty.
Surviving are daughter Nancy Lumbert, of Holland, nephew Bob and Kim Bain, of Holland, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and great great nephews and niece.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday January 16, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Mulder Chapel, Dykstra Funeral Homes Inc 188 West 32nd Street. Visitation will be held from 10-11 am prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of America.
