Ruth Elaine Kleinheksel age 65 of Holland died Thursday August 3, 2017 at Appledorn Living Center following an extended illness.

Born in Detroit, Mi., Ruth graduated from Southfield High School. In 1975 she moved to the Holland area after graduating from Western Michigan. It was that same year she married Timothy Kleinheksel. They attended Beechwood Reformed Church. Ruth enjoyed sewing and quilting and they both enjoyed traveling.

Besides her husband Tim, Ruth is survived by daughters; Amy (Mahesh) Narayanan of Warrenville, IL., Mindy (Denny) Segar of Battle Creek, MI., 4 grandchildren; Josiah, Daithan, Kaelin, Elijah, brothers and sisters; Sheldon (Marcie) Weinstein of Nevada, Marsha Auslander of Farmington, Hills, David (Karen) Weinstein of N.Y.,N.Y., Gary (Eileen) Weinstein of Novi, MI.; Brother and sister in laws; Dale (Kathy) Kleinheksel of Comstock Park, Cal (Nancy) Kleinheksel of Zeeland, Glenn (Beth) Kleinheksel of Overisel, Ken (Nancee) Kleinheksel of Hamilton, Joy (Carl) Meyer of Drenthe as well as many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday 11:00AM at Overisel Reformed Church, 4706 142nd Ave., Holland with Pastors Ken Kleinheksel and Dale Kleinheksel officiating. Burial will be in Overisel Cemetery.

Friends may greet the family Monday 2-4 and 6-8 at the Mulder Chapel, Dykstra Funeral Homes, 188 W. 32nd St., Holland.
