Rosemary White

Rosemary White, age 90 of Holland, passed away Thursday January 4, 2018 at Appledorn.

Rosemary was born on October 31, 1927, in Wayne, Michigan to Austin and Mildred (Dowling) Brothers. On July 30, 1945, she entered into marriage with Garth K. White. They were married for 37 years. She spent most of her time living in Garden City, Michigan and working in the restaurant business until she retired in 1982. After several years she moved to Cadillac, Michigan, in 1997. Rosemary spent 27 years wintering in Apache Junction, Arizona, enjoying the sun and entertaining all her Superstition Family. In 2013 she moved to Holland. Rosemary was a real people person who enjoyed cruising, playing cards, and spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. They will cherish their fond memories of her.

Rosemary is survived by her daughters; Dianna (Richard) Okon of Brownstown, MI, Linda Bannan of Holland, MI, and Susan (Ross) Hunter of Zeeland, MI; son Garth White of Commerce Township, MI; four grandchildren, Jennifer (David) Perrault, Alan (Mary) Okon, Erin (Weston) Allen, and Beth (Mark) Doren; five great-grandchildren, Jon, Renee, Lily, Molly, and Brady; sister, Nancy Root; brother, James Brothers; and many other loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Garth White, parents Austin and Mildred (Dowling) Brothers; son-in-law, David Bannan and several brothers and sisters.

A celebration of her life will take place at a later date.
