Roger Lubbers, age 62, of Holland died Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Holland Hospital.

Roger was a member of Zion Lutheran Church where he ushered for many years and was employed at Thermotron for almost 40 years. Roger enjoyed fishing, travel and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his sister Janice Lubbers.

He is survived by his wife of 42 happy years, Anne and children: Eddie and Martha Lubbers of Holland, Donna and Thomas Ingles of Nashville, TN and Kurt and Dani Lubbers of Petaluma, CA; grandchildren: Andrew, William, Allison, Calvin, Charlotte and another beautiful grandchild soon to be born; brother: Lloyd and Kathy Lubbers; sister: Kris and Keith Riemersma both of Holland; parents-in-law: Ed and Norma Rastall of Holland; sisters-in-law: Paula and Mike Capizzi of Holland and Peggy and Bob Ankerman of Holland; brother-in-law: Kenny Rastall of Wheeling, West Virginia; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be 11:00 am, Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Zion Lutheran Church, 77 West 32nd Street in Holland. Rev. Ryan Winningham will be officiating.

Visitation will be from 9:30-11:00 am prior to the service at the church. Memorial contributions may be given to Lutheran World Relief or the American Heart Association. Arrangements are by Dykstra Funeral Home – Mulder Chapel.
