Robert J. Sowerby

Robert J. Sowerby, age 68, of Holland, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2024.

Bob was born in Detroit, Michigan to George & Rhea Sowerby on January 25, 1956. He was a Tool & Die Maker for many years. He enjoyed his R.C. cars and stock car racing. Bob was an avid University of Michigan football fan and he also loved his Detroit Red Wings. Bob loved to laugh and was known for his dry sense of humor. He loved playing poker, cribbage and in his younger days he enjoyed euchre. He was loved by everyone that knew him and he will truly be missed.

Bob is survived by his life partner of 25 years (wife) of 14 years, Mrs. Nancy Sowerby; children, Deanna (Bill) Merritt, Rondi (Steve) Bodnar; step-children, Sheila (Steve) Jacobs, Andrew Siegers; grandchildren, Shian Dykstra, Rebekah Dykstra, Hannah Dykstra, Tim Dykstra II, Alex Zerlaut, Shane Bodnar, Evelyn Bodnar, Trisha Jacobs, Tiffany Jacobs, Taylor Jacobs, Dale Siegers, Denaje Martinez; five great-grandchildren and brother, Carl Sowerby; Bob's furry friend, Gate'.
