On August 21, 2021, Robert "Bubba" Guerra, beloved son of Barbara Luna, devoted father of Caleb Guerra, Brandon Guerra and Isaac Flores, passed away at the age of 29.

Loving brother of Angel Alvarado, Miranda Alvarado, Casandra Bentley and Juan Guerra.

Dear nephew to Mika Luna and Maria Montalvo.

Favorite cousin to Jason Bradshaw and Sydni Guerra.

Fond uncle to Arianna DelaO, Amelia Thomas, Nylia Moncivais, Joseph Moncivais, Riley Bentley, Jeremiah Guerra and Jaxon Guerra.

Special friend to Nuni Hernandez, Martin Perez, Isaac Flores, Marcus Solis, Haley Neinhuis and Cazandra Quintanilla, as well as, the entire Guerra Family. Bubba also leaves behind his loving Pit Bull, Nipsy.

Rob was preceded in death by his grandparents Robert and Ernestina Luna and Rogelio and Justina Guerra.

Robert “Rob” Guerra was born on May 24, 1992 in Saginaw, Michigan to Juan Guerra and Barbara Luna. He attended Holland Public Schools and Vanderbilt Charter Academy. Rob grew up in Holland and worked in the Restaurant Industry throughout his life. He had a love and heart for people. Everyone that knew Rob was well aware of his loving heart, supportive ways and genuine care for others. He had a very diverse group of friends given his caring ways and his nieces and nephews considered him the “fun Tio”. People also knew that Rob had a flashy way of dressing with flare. He loved gaming, shopping, watching movies, tattoos, dancing and playing basketball with his best friend Nuni. Rob had an easy smile with a distinct laugh. His great sense of humor was full of sarcasm and he was always ready to tease those around him and have a good time. He was the life of the party with his gregarious sense of humor and he was always full of energy. People truly enjoyed his company and friendship. Rob loved the Green Bay Packers and people knew not to bother or text him during their games. Rob also loved "hitting at the NINO". Rob was a man with a deep drive and inner motivation and was the type of man that loved a challenge. He worked out in the gym regularly and often trained other adults and children in the gym. His love of a challenge found him competing and training in Mixed Martial Arts. After leaving competition in MMA he became a professional boxer winning 5 title belts under the training and coaching of Ruben Silvas and Rich Miller. He competed in Chicago, Detroit, Miami, Indianapolis, Lansing and Holland. Rob trained at West Side Boxing in Holland. Most importantly, Rob loved his boys and family. He was a very active father. Robert “Rob” Guerra was loved by all who knew him and he will truly be missed.

The family will receive visitors Monday August 30, from 2:00pm to 9:00pm, at the Dykstra Funeral Home - Mulder Chapel, 188 West 32nd Street, Holland, Michigan. A funeral service will be held Tuesday August 31, at 10:00am, at Christ Memorial Church, 595 Graafschap Rd, Holland. Visitation will be held one hour prior at the church. Pastor Lisa Urivez-Karp will preside over the funeral ceremony. Interment in Pilgrim Home Cemetery.
