Peggy Sas

Peggy Sas, age 77, of West Olive, passed away Monday, February 25, 2019. Mrs. Sas was born to Christian and Anna Van Slooten. She married the love of her life, Art, in 1959 and they were married for 52 years until his passing. Peggy enjoyed playing bingo, poker and rummy cube. Her humor was quick, witty and spontaneous. She was well known for her creativity, photography and painting. Peggy had a love for deer camp, living off of the land, dogs, sewing, garage sales and taking care of her family. Grandma was always caring and taking care of her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur and her son, Artie. Peggy is survived by her children, John (Beth), Greg (Pamela), Brenda, Ruth (Scott) and David; 14 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and many extended family and friends.

A funeral ceremony will be held at Harlem Reformed Church, 6854 144th Ave, Holland, on Monday, March 4, at 1:30pm. Visitation is 12:30-1:30pm prior to the service at the church.
