Patricia Hercinger

Patricia Marie Hercinger, age 84, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Holland Hospital.

Pat was born September 9, 1938 in Sturgis, MI. She graduated from Sturgis High School in 1956. Pat continued her education with Western Union where she became an Automatic Operator.

Pat worked for Western Union until 1971 when she became a stay-at-home mother. During that time, she held part-time positions such as volunteering at Fennville Public Schools until her son reached middle school.

She was a receptionist for Century 21 before going full-time as an accountant for Sligh Furniture, retiring after many years of service. Her last employment was part-time at Harbors Insurance Company in accounting.

During retirement Pat spent time sending and receiving emails from family and friends along with playing her computer games.

She read numerous books and, of course, there was the daily Miller Time at the Cove in Douglas, MI.

Pat was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years Frank Hercinger; son: Frank G. (Kelly) Hercinger; grandchildren: Zachery and Ellison Hercinger.

Pat has donated her body to the University of Michigan Medical School. Arrangements are by Dykstra Funeral Homes-Saugatuck Chapel.
