Patricia A. Thomson

Patricia Thomson, age 86, loving mother of daughter Karen, and adoring wife to husband James Thomson, passed away in the early morning hours of May 22nd.

Pat was born to Harold & Julia (Phillips) Maas on August 4, 1935 in Colby, Wisconsin. She was influenced by her family to be a loving and caring woman and incorporated that into her motherhood. She met her husband Jim in mid-1950’s and they were married on January 19, 1957. Pat and Jim were blessed with a daughter in the summer of 1964, and she and Jim spoiled her as much as they possibly could. Pat became a grandmother in 1986 and then again in 2002 and couldn’t have been a prouder grandmother. In her spare time, she liked to embroider, create hook rugs, complete word search puzzles and watch game shows. She will be greatly missed by her family who adored her with all their hearts

We know that we can’t have you, but we are happy to know that Jim finally has you back by his side. Goodbye to a wonderful woman and a beautiful mother.

Pat is survived by her loving daughter, Karen Thomson; grandsons, Steven VanIwaarden and Gavin VanIwaarden. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, James Thomson.

Private family services and interment will be held in Pilgrim Home Cemetery.

Professional service is under the auspices of the Northwood Chapel.
