Nam Duong

Nam Duong, age 34, of Holland, Michigan, passed away on April 18, 2023. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend.

Nam was born on May 25, 1988 in Holland, Michigan. He grew up in the Holland area and attended West Ottawa Schools. Nam enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was an amazing guy who touched so many lives. He was selfless, always putting others before himself, and had a heart of gold. He had a great sense of humor and could always make you laugh. Nam was incredibly kind and would go out of his way to help anyone in need. Family and friends are heartbroken to have lost him, however, there is comfort in knowing that he is resting peacefully and he’ll be saving lives through kidney donation.

He was predeceased by his father, Tung Duong in 2012. Nam is survived by his wife of seven years, Amber; daughter, Linh; mother, Kim Anh Tran; siblings, Son Duong, Kim (Matt) Walters, and Kim (Andy) Roossien. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Nam was loved by all and will be deeply missed and his memory will live on in the hearts of all those who knew and loved him.

Family and friends are invited to come together on Thursday, April 20, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm, at the Dykstra Funeral Home - Northwood Chapel, 295 Douglas Avenue, Holland.
