Michael G. Tubergen passed away Thursday, September 6 at home.
Mike was born on July 21, 1953 to George (Bud) and Anna (Betty Dryer) Tubergen in Holland. He enjoyed hunting, for which he traveled as far as Minnesota, South Dakota, Wyoming, and even Alaska. But his big love was cars and auto racing. He was a member of a race team at Kalamazoo Speedway, where he was known as Crazy Mike.
He is survived by his sister, Linda (Tom) Doyle of Hesperia; his nephews, Thomas (Lauren) Doyle of Katonah, NY and Rory (Tiffanie) Doyle of Vinemont, AL; his great nieces Amity Doyle of Katonah, NY and Fisher Doyle of Vinemont, AL; his uncles Peter Dryer of Clarkston, MI and Robert Ver Hey of Holland; many cousins and their children; and his race family in Kalamazoo.
Mike was preceded in death by his mother and father, Bud and Betty Tubergen.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, October 6, from 2-4 pm, at Dykstra Funeral Home-Mulder Chapel, 188 West 32nd Street, Holland.
