Merilyn Jean Klomparens, age 91 of Holland, peacefully passed away on September 13, 2021.
Merilyn enjoyed activities such as working as a hospital volunteer, working side-by-side with her husband for the Shriners, and always had constant involvement in school activities and Camp Fire. She was a member of First United Methodist Church where she was very active by teaching Sunday school and serving on many boards. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her family who she adored. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be deeply missed by all that knew her.
She is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Paul; children, Carol (Harvey) Streur, Barb (Mike) Kuipers, Thomas (Jane) Klomparens, William (Shirlee) Klomparens; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sister, Arlene (Dick) Ruhala; brother, Roger (Cherie) DeCook, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A visitation will take place on Thursday, September 16 from 10-11:30am at First United Methodist Church in Holland. A private family service take place following the visitation.
