Mary Overway, age 86, of Holland, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2018, at a local care facility after a long period of illness.
In her working years, Mary was a cook at several area restaurants. After she retired, Mary enjoyed cooking for her family and doing word puzzles.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Merle in 2010 and her parents, Rudy and Jo Hof.
She is survived by sons; Mark Overway and Bruce and Cindy Overway; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren; sister, Linda and Jim Jipping; special neighbor, Jim Nash.
No service or visitation is scheduled.
Burial will be in Pilgrim Home Cemetery.
Arrangements are by the Dykstra Funeral Home-Northwood Chapel.
