Marsha Lou (Borr) Northuis, age 79, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, was born on March 17, 1937 and passed away peacefully on December 25, 2016 after struggling with dementia for many years.

Marsha was born in Holland, Michigan to Richard and Gertrude (Hoffman) Borr. She graduated from Holland High School in 1955. In 1958, she married Paul Northuis, her high school sweetheart, and they eventually moved to Wyoming, Michigan.

Marsha delighted in creating memories and celebrating family milestones. She captured the lives of her children and grandchildren through the art of photography and scrapbooking. An enthusiastic traveler, she planned family camping trips across the country. She gave generously of her time to others. A dedicated volunteer and organizer, she served in classrooms, at sporting events, and at her churches. Marsha was a music lover, choir member, talented stained glass artist, gardener, cook, and family archivist.

She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Paul; children, Shawn (Brian) Hall, Michelle (William) Bryson, and Heather (Scott) Wolterink; grandchildren, Benjamin, Matthew, Katelyn (Hall), Paul, Grace, Joel (Bryson), Anna, Ethan, and Jane (Wolterink); and siblings, Joyce Martinus and Roger (Ruth) Borr. Her sisters, Judith Borr and Betty Erickson, preceded her in death.

Memorial services will be 11:30 am, Monday (January 2), at the First Reformed Church, 630 State Street, with the Rev. Dr. Daniel Gillett officiating. Burial will be in Pilgrim Home Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30-11:15 am, Monday (January 2) prior to the service at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Geneva Camp and Retreat Center. The family would like to thank Appledorn Living Center for the loving care they provided for Marsha. Arrangements are by the Dykstra Funeral Home-Northwood Chapel.
