Marie Lukas, age 94 of Holland (formerly Chicago), went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, December 20, 2020.
Born and raised in Chicago, Marie worked for Sears for 34 years. She moved to Holland in 2000 to be close to her family who she loved spending time with. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother who will be deeply missed.
She was preceded by her husband Joseph in 1980.
Survived by her son, James (Sharon) Lukas; grandchildren, Karen (Tom) VanDam, Kimberly (Robert) Frieling, Jeff (Ann) Lukas, Kris (Jason) Spaulding; great-grandchildren; Matt, Jason, Kayla (Jordan), Marcus (Kennady), Mateo, Sam, Sidney, Shawn, Oliver, Siena; and great-great-grandson, Brody.
A private family service will take place at a later date. Burial will take place at St Lucas Cemetery in Chicago, IL.
