Margot Kilander

Margot Telling Kilander passed away April 17, 2025.

She attended Drake University and was married to Robert Kray Kilander for over 50 years.

Robert was Chief Justice for Du Page County, Illinois. For employment she worked as a personal recruiter for Chicago-area businesses and later rehabbed houses. She was instrumental in creating the Hinsdale Community Center in Hinsdale, Illinois. Eventually she moved to Saugatuck Michigan where she enjoyed boating and going to the beach. She played regular bridge games with friends and also held rotating poker/dinner parties with other good friends. She vacationed in Sarasota, Florida during the winter.

She is survived by her sister Barbara Telling Antone, life-long friends and cousins Debbie Moreale and Kerry Daegler and sons Peter Kilander and William Kilander. Arrangements are by Dykstra Funeral Homes – Saugatuck Chapel.
