Margaret Chaplin Bos

Margaret Bos, age 88 of Holland, went to be with her Lord and Savior, on November 13, 2022 after a five-and-a-half-year struggle with Alzheimer’s.

Margaret was born in Nottingham England to Frederick and Lillian Chaplin. She was a member of Hope church, which she enjoyed and received wonderful support. Margaret was an excellent cook with many recipes. She also enjoyed playing all card games (especially bridge), and loved playing golf. She always enjoyed the time spent with friends from the Waterlilies and loved traveling to many places, including her annual trip back to England to visit her family and friends. She spent many years traveling with her loving husband Bob in their motorhome and spent many winters down in Florida. Margaret had a beautiful smile, and wonderful personality. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Iris James.

She is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Robert; children, Terry (Martha) Hornbaker, Gail Grayson, Ellen (Mike) Phalan, Bradley (Jill) Chaplin; step-children, Jeffrey Bos, Michael (Kim) Bos; 7 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Joyce Andrews; beloved sister-in-law, Gretchen (Paul) Wiegerink, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
