Linda Uildriks, age 72 of Holland, passed away February 24, 2024.

Lynne was born on May 8, 1951, the first child of Wayne and Audrey (DeVries) Jacobusse. She graduated from Holland High School and then pursued her degree as a registered radiology technician at Grand Valley State University.

She married the love of her life, William (Bill) Uildriks on July 18, 1971. She initially worked at Holland Hospital and later at Zeeland Hospital. If you had xrays or a CT at either place, you probably had the pleasure of meeting her.

Lynne and Bill had four children: Amy Uildriks (George Poindexter, Jr.); Kimberly (Jerrica) Kallio; Joshua Uildriks (Monika Haggerty); and Jonathan Uildriks. They have 4 grandchildren: Jade and Nathaniel Uildriks; and Jacoba and Atticus Kallio.

Lynne overcame some serious health challenges with incredible grace. She performed Dutch Dance with alumni groups for years. She was an expert seamstress (including numerous inspection worthy Dutch costumes) and could work magic with any yarn project. She was an avid reader especially science fiction. She also adored animals and saved countless cats and dogs over the years.

Bill and she were members of the New Apostolic Church and appreciate the support they received from Evangelist Scott Heidema and the church family.

Lynne is survived by her husband, children and grandchildren as well as her sister Kris (Erik) Lindquist, aunt Joyce Jacobusse as well as numerous cousins.

Visitation will be Friday, March 1 from 4 to 6 pm at the Mulder Chapel, Dykstra Funeral Home, 188 W. 32nd St., Holland. The church service will be Saturday, March 2 at 1 pm at New Apostolic Church, 117 W. 14th St., Holland. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at the Restlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Harbor Humane Society (14345 Bagley Street, West Olive, MI 49460).
