Linda Toelle

Linda Toelle, 72, passed away August 16th, 2017 in her home in Holland, Michigan surrounded by her family. She was the wife of Dan Toelle. They shared 45 years of marriage together and raised two children, Danielle and Sarah.

Linda was born June 1st, 1945 in Flint, Michigan to the late Olive and Robert Harper. She was the youngest of two children. She graduated with a Masters in Education from EMU and MSU and had a passion for the young children she taught for nearly 25 years.

Linda radiated positivity and had a passion for life that was contagious. She loved to dance, ski, hike, bike, and socialize. She made friends everywhere she went. She was involved heavily in local organizations such as The Food Pantry, Benjamin’s Hope, and Kids Hope. She enjoyed spending time with her family on Lake Michigan and at Crystal Mountain. When she wasn’t attending a meeting for Garden Club, Book Club, Small Group, or her neighborhood Dinner Club she liked to travel and read. She recently started tap and voice lessons and traveled to both China and Greece.

She is survived by husband Dan, daughters Danielle (Drew) and Sarah (Giorgio), sister Jan (John), sister-in-law Carol, nieces and nephews Bob, Stephanie, Brad, Aneshia, and Jarek, and grandchildren Mabel and Eleanor. She is preceded in death by her parents, in-laws, brother-in-law Dennis and nephew Doug.

Visitation held at Beechwood Church Aug. 27th, 4-6 and Aug. 28th, 10-11. Funeral Service held Aug. 28th at 11, followed by lunch.
