Born in Holland, Linda graduated from West Ottawa High School, class of 1966. For 30 years she was employed by the Department of Social Services as a supervisor. She was a former member of Crossroads Ministries. Linda was also a lifetime member of the VFW Auxiliary as well as a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
Her husband of 36 years, Dennis Brewer preceded her in death in 2004 as well as her father Marvin Overway in 2000.
She is survived by her daughter Amy and Bruce Anspaugh of Holland, granddaughter, Nicole Anspaugh, Mother, Betty Overway of Holland, sister, Jane and Paul Busscher of Zeeland, sister-in-law, Sheryl and Lewis Haeck of Port Charlotte, FL. as well as nieces and nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday 11:00 AM at Northwood Chapel, Dykstra Funeral Homes, 295 Douglas Ave. with Rev. Andy Fierro. Burial will be at Lakewood Cemetery.
Friends may call on the family Monday, 6:00PM to 8:00PM at the chapel.
Memorial gifts may be given to Hospice of Holland.
