Lawrence "Larry" Nyboer

Lawrence “Larry” Nyboer, age 61 of Holland, passed away Thursday, July 8, 2021.

Larry was born in Holland, graduated from West Ottawa High School, and Hope College.

He taught social studies for many years in the Holland Public Schools. Larry was a history buff, an avid reader, and loved watching Jeopardy.

Larry was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce, in 2015.

He was a loving father to his daughters and grandson, Kirsten Nyboer and Sarah Nyboer; grandson, Bryce McLean; he is also survived by his father, Wayne Nyboer; sisters, Pam and Dale Senogles and Sheri and Rod Van Loo; also an uncle and aunt, nephews, nieces, and cousins; and his beloved lab, Finney.

Funeral services will be 11 am Monday (July 12) at Holland Heights CRC, 836 East 8th Street, with Rev. Ralph Beidler officiating. Burial will be in Pilgrim Home Cemetery. Visiting is 10-10:45 prior to the service at the church.

Arrangements are by the Dykstra Funeral Home-Mulder Chapel.
