Kenneth Lee DeBoer, Age 70, of Hamilton, passed away Thursday April 27, 2017 in Grand Rapids. Mr. DeBoer served his country faithfully as a United States Navy Seabea in Vietnam. After serving his country he worked for Conway Express for 25 years as a truck driver. Ken was a life-long bowler, past president of the Michigan State Bowling Association and at the time of his passing he was the Vice President on the Greater Holland Board. Ken hunted in the Upper Peninsula, was an avid fisherman, had a love for golfing, gardening and would "go to Montana" where his son David lives.

Mr. DeBoer is survived by his loving wife Merry; son, David (Marla); granddaughter, Cassidy; Mother, Geneva DeBoer; in-law's, Nina Mannes, Shirley (Carl) Vanderveen, Lindi (Bob) Milner, Dale (Marlyn) Streur, William Streur; uncle and aunt, Roger (Barb) Scholten and many nieces and nephews. Ken was preceded in death by his father; Fred DeBoer; son, Jonathon Deboer.

A funeral ceremony to honor Ken's life will take place at 11 a.m. Wednesday May 3, at the Dykstra Funeral Home - Northwood Chapel, 295 Douglas Ave, Holland. A public visitation will be held on Tuesday May 2, from 5-8 p.m. at the Northwood Chapel. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Hamilton.
